February 2027 holidays in Font-Romeu Pyrénées 2000
Planning a February mountain holiday means coordinating dates, budgets and different expectations. Our chalet is in Bolquère, in the Pyrénées 2000 sector of the Font-Romeu Pyrénées 2000 ski area, approximately 300 m from the slopes. Book Isard for 6 guests, Loups for 6, or both floors as Grand Chalet for 12. This guide draws on the official French school calendar, information from Altiservice and prices programmed in Smoobu, checked on 5 September 2026.

1. Match the week to your school calendar
The French education ministry lists winter holidays for zone C from Saturday 6 February to Monday 22 February 2027, zone A from Saturday 13 February to Monday 1 March, and zone B from Saturday 20 February to Monday 8 March. Montpellier and Toulouse are in zone C, alongside Paris, Créteil and Versailles. Holidays start after classes on the first date; classes resume on the morning of the last date shown.
If your family lives across different French school districts, check the overlap before choosing dates. If you are travelling from another country, use your own school calendar rather than assuming these zones apply. A Saturday arrival is not required by the school calendar: the booking engine shows what is possible for each home. Christmas holidays run from 19 December 2026 to 4 January 2027, with different minimum stays for Grand Chalet and the separate homes.
2. Choose the home around your group
Isard occupies the upper floor: 3 bedrooms, 4 beds and 1 bathroom, with a fireplace and south-facing terrace. Loups is on the garden level: 2 bedrooms, 4 beds and 2 bathrooms, with a private sauna and projector. Grand Chalet combines these spaces into 5 bedrooms, 8 beds and 3 bathrooms for 12 guests. It is not a third independent chalet.
Start by allocating bedrooms and discussing daily routines, then browse the full photo galleries. Two families may appreciate having two kitchens and two living areas. A group of six may instead prioritise extra bedrooms or extra bathrooms. The accommodation comparison brings these differences together on one page. Do not assume that an amenity shown in one home’s photographs is included with another booking option.
3. Build a February budget
In the recorded base-price calendar, seven nights arriving between 1 and 28 February cost €1,950–€2,695 for Isard or Loups, and €3,900–€5,390 for Grand Chalet. Weeks arriving on 6 or 27 February represent €2,415 for a six-person home or €4,830 for the entire chalet; weeks arriving on 13 or 20 February represent €2,695 or €5,390, before fixed fees.
Add a single fixed fee per stay of €95 for Isard, €85 for Loups or €190 for Grand Chalet. These amounts cover cleaning, sheets and towels. For these four Saturday-to-Saturday weeks, indicative totals therefore range from €2,510 to €2,790 for Isard, €2,500 to €2,780 for Loups and €5,020 to €5,580 for Grand Chalet. Tourist tax is included. This is a calculation from a dated price calendar, not a guarantee of availability or an allowance for a possible promotion. Only the booking engine provides your final quote.
4. Understand minimum stays and cancellation
From 6 February to 5 March, all three options have a programmed 4-night minimum, regardless of the arrival day. Arrivals from 1 to 5 February and from 6 to 31 March have a 2-night minimum. This does not mean every stay has to begin on Saturday. A booking still depends on availability and the rules applied by Smoobu.
At Christmas, Isard and Loups require at least 2 nights from 19 to 29 December. Grand Chalet requires 3 nights on 19 December, then 7 nights from 20 to 29 December. All three options require 4 nights on 30 and 31 December, then 2 nights from 1 January. Direct bookings allow free cancellation up to 45 days before arrival. Read the conditions displayed before confirming your stay.
5. Plan your walk to the slopes
Altiservice announces a provisional winter season from 4 December 2026 to 29 March 2027. Actual opening depends on conditions, so consult the operator’s bulletin before skiing. You can walk from the chalet to the Pyrénées 2000 ski front, with two chairlifts and two drag lifts approximately 300 m away. There is no need for a shuttle for this journey.
Equipment hire and the ESF ski school are at the foot of the slopes in the same area. Confirm your lesson’s meeting point directly with the school, since it can depend on the class and level. The ski room is to the left of the Isard entrance and holds equipment for 12 people. It is available with Isard and Grand Chalet. Chalet des Loups does not have a ski room.
6. Include worthwhile plans for non-skiers
Build a programme that lets people choose their own pace. A quiet morning at the chalet, time in the village and lunch together can alternate with activities offered by the resort. Before walking on snow, ask for an open route suitable for the conditions. A summer hiking path is not automatically a safe winter walking route, even when its starting point looks accessible.
Back at the chalet, different spaces offer different choices: a fireplace in Isard, an included sauna and projector in Loups, and all these amenities with Grand Chalet. For a Train Jaune outing, check SNCF timetables and arrange transport to the station and back. Before committing to any activity, verify that it operates on your chosen date and that you can reach its meeting point.

7. Book when the essentials are agreed
We do not publish a ranking of which weeks fill first: the price calendar does not measure enquiries or bookings. Use the live availability calendar instead. If your dates are flexible, compare different arrival days. If your group wants both floors, search for Grand Chalet directly rather than trying to organise two separate bookings that may not cover identical dates.
Check-in starts at 15:00 and check-out is by 10:30. Prepare your vehicle for winter roads and check conditions before travelling. Pets are welcome, but they are not allowed in bedrooms. For a specific question, the prefilled WhatsApp message lets you add your dates, guest numbers and how you found us. That information helps us understand your plans and answer the practical question that matters to your group.
