Planning a ski holiday in Font-Romeu Pyrénées 2000
Whether at Christmas, during the February holidays or outside peak weeks, a few questions make a difference: where does skiing start, how will your group organise itself, and what is the complete cost? Here is our preparation checklist.
Confirm the season and actual openings
Altiservice lists the provisional 2026–2027 season from 4 December 2026 to 29 March 2027. Opening depends on conditions and does not mean every slope is accessible. Check the operator’s information before travelling and the daily report during your stay.
For Christmas or February, also check your own school-holiday dates. Minimum stays vary by property and date: do not assume that Saturday arrivals or a full week are always required.
Check the ski-school meeting point
Our address is in Bolquère, in the Pyrénées 2000 sector of the Font-Romeu Pyrénées 2000 ski area. The slopes are approximately 300 metres away, but that is not the distance to every school or lift. Ask exactly where lessons start, particularly for a beginner child.
Plan equipment collection and travel before the first morning. In a group of twelve, some guests may start early while others enjoy a quiet morning at the chalet.
Choose a home for returning from the slopes
For six guests, Isard offers three bedrooms, one bathroom and the fireplace; Loups offers two bedrooms, two bathrooms and the sauna. An extra bathroom can matter as much as the choice between sauna and fireplace when several people get ready together.
For twelve, Grand Chalet combines both floors, five bedrooms and three bathrooms. Two living areas help everyone share the holiday without identical bedtimes. Explore the photos and allocate bedrooms before confirming.
Compare the complete price, then book
Fixed fees include cleaning and linen: €95 for Isard, €85 for Loups and €190 for Grand Chalet per stay. Nightly charges, taxes and other applicable items appear in the booking quote. The 2026 price references are not a promise of prices for February 2027.
